Do not recharge, short-circuit, over-discharge, crush, disassemble, heat above 100 °C (212 °F), incinerate, or expose the contents to water.
Use only in equipment designed for this battery. Observe the correct polarity and the operating limits in the product datasheet. The 100 °C warning limit is not an operating-temperature rating. Follow the storage conditions listed above and protect the terminals from contact with metal objects or other batteries. Do not use a damaged or leaking battery.
Use the battery within its specified electrical and temperature limits and store it under the recommended conditions to avoid premature replacement. This primary cell must not be recharged. Do not open, rebuild or repurpose the cell yourself. At the end of its useful life, use the collection and treatment arrangements listed below.
Collect waste batteries separately from household waste and other unsorted municipal waste. Do not litter or place them in a general waste bin. Return them through a collection service that accepts this type of lithium battery so that they can receive appropriate treatment and material recovery.
Even a used battery may retain energy. Prevent short circuits, which can cause overheating. For intact waste cells, protect exposed terminals with non-conductive tape or individual protective sleeves, without obscuring identification, and follow the collection provider's instructions. Keep batteries dry and away from heat and metal objects. Do not crush or dismantle them. Do not handle a hot, damaged or leaking cell as an ordinary intact waste cell; avoid contact with released contents and obtain handling instructions from the designated collection provider.
Improper disposal can damage batteries and release substances that may harm people and contaminate soil or water. Separate collection allows controlled treatment and recovery of materials. Do not touch leaked contents or allow them to enter drains or the environment.
Crossed-out wheeled bin: The battery must be collected separately and must not be discarded as unsorted municipal waste.
